Michigan basketball has officially released its 11-game 2025-26 non-conference schedule. The Wolverines will play seven non-conference games in November, three in December and one in February. Five of Michigan’s 11 non-conference games will be played at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor; three will be played in Las Vegas; and one will be played in Detroit, Washington, D.C. and Fort Worth, Texas.

Interestingly, four of Michigan’s non-conference opponents have reached at least one Final Four in the last four seasons.

November

Dusty May’s squad will open the 2025-26 season against Greg Kampe and the Oakland Golden Grizzlies in Ann Arbor on November 3. The next non-conference game will come eight days later, as the Wolverines take on Wake Forest at Little Caesars Arena in a return game of a home-and-home series. Last season, the Demon Deacons knocked off the Wolverines, 72-70, at Greensboro Coliseum in Charlotte North Carolina.

The Wolverines will then take a trip south to Fort Worth, Texas, to honor the back half of a home-and-home series with TCU. Michigan beat TCU at Crisler Center by a score of 76-64 a year ago.

Middle Tennessee State will visit Crisler Center five days later, which should be an easy test for Michigan before it heads west to The Entertainment Capital Of The World.

What happens in Vegas will be three games in three days for the Wolverines. Michigan will face San Diego State (a national finalist in 2023) on Nov. 24, Auburn (a national semifinalist in 2025) in a rematch of last year’s Sweet 16 on Nov. 25 and an unknown opponent on Nov. 26.

December

As always, December will begin with a pair of Big Ten games. These opponents will be determined at a later date, when the conference announces the full Big Ten schedule. On Dec. 9, though, Michigan will host Villanova (a national semifinalist in 2022) in what will be the first installment of a home-and-home series with the Wildcats.

Four days before Christmas, Michigan will host LaSalle. And four days after Christmas, Michigan will host McNeese in what will be the last game at Crisler Center of the calendar year.

February

Finally, in February, Michigan will take a small break from Big Ten play to travel to the nation’s capital to face the Duke Blue Devils at Capital One Arena.
