Davis Fogle Is Jumping Onto Scouts’ Radars Now

True freshman wing Davis Fogle in Spokane is garnering attention with his radiant play as of late. The 6-7 and 200-pound shotmaker has stepped into an increased role since redshirt junior forward Braden Huff went down with a left knee injury back during the week of Jan. 12.

Over the last 10 games, the uber-athletic Fogle has averaged 11.5 points on a 57.8 field goal percentage, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game for the Gonzaga Bulldogs off the bench.

That included a timely performance of 18 points in 28 minutes against the Pacific Tigers in front of the Kennel this past weekend, the second-highest workload of his first college basketball campaign. Without Fogle’s vital contributions on Feb. 21, that game could’ve ended disastrously. The entire outlook on the Zags’ 2025-26 season would’ve been looked at much differently.

Coach Mark Few has relied on his playmaking abilities in key spots over the past month or so. In transition, Fogle’s been an absolute blur in the open floor after forcing turnovers and hammering it down with his rim-rattling dunks on the other end.

Fogle’s 2027 NBA Draft stock has shot up as he continues to develop both as an overall scorer and a defender. When watching him back in October to now, the maturity in his game has grown exponentially.

He has unlimited possibilities in the half-court sets with his long arms at the rim and mid-range shooting touch. The form is clean; it’s just about continuing to get stronger and working on extending the range beyond the arc.

Fogle can create scoring opportunities for himself with his handle and polished pull-up jumper, both off and on the dribble. Once he becomes a more pure three-level scoring threat, Fogle would have the game along with the build of a prospective lottery pick down the road.

The Anacortes, Washington native will continue to receive even more love from scouts if he can keep producing meaningful minutes for Gonzaga’s second unit during the upcoming West Coast Conference Tournament and NCAA Tournament.

In 2026-27, Fogle’s sophomore season with the Zags will put him on the national map for everyone to see as the potential face of the future Pacific Northwest program at the start of the Pac-12 Conference era.
