After a record-breaking, sold-out, four-day attendance of 564,000 at the 2026 British Grand Prix – the highest in Formula 1 history – the event is set to return in July 2027. Demand for tickets is likely to be just as high, with at least five British drivers expected to be on the grid again next year.

Silverstone has confirmed to attendees who signed up to their mailing list that tickets for the 2027 British Grand Prix will go on sale to the general public in September, though an exact date is yet to be announced.

After the 2023 ticket sale was plagued with issues, changes were made to the on sale process for 2024 which made it easier for Formula 1 fans to secure tickets. However, Silverstone deployed a dynamic pricing model, which saw some fans’ tickets increase significantly in price between ticket selection and checking out. Dynamic pricing has remained in place since – and is likely to be used again for the 2027 ticket launch – though a less aggressive pricing model has been used in the last two years.

For reference, 2026 British Grand Prix tickets went on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday September 19. On the day that ticket sales begin, the official circuit website is the only place to buy legitimate grandstand and general admission tickets. Hospitality packages are available via third party sites, however, and tickets do become available via resellers after the initial sales period begins.

Below, you can find further details about the dates on which 2026 British Grand Prix tickets went on sale, as well as a full price list.

Priority Access for Silverstone Racing Club Members

2027 British Grand Prix tickets will be available first to members of the Silverstone Racing Club. Three levels of membership are available: Grid Membership, Full Circuit Membership and SRC 1966 Membership. While the latter is open by invitation only, Grid Membership of the Silverstone Racing Club is priced at £135, while Full Membership is priced at £235.

In previous years, Grid Membership has offered a one-week priority access window, while pre-sale access for Full Membership holders took place 24 hours earlier – eight days before tickets are on sale to the general public.

As well as priority access to 2027 British Grand Prix tickets, membership grants access to club events plus various other perks. It is worth bearing in mind that 2027 British Grand Prix tickets are highly unlikely to sell out during the priority access window.

Is it Worth Buying Priority Access for British Grand Prix Tickets?

Thanks to the use of dynamic pricing, for some fans, it has worked out as more cost effective to buy access to the priority ticket sale for British Grand Prix tickets in recent years.

The largest price increases between the start of the pre-sale for members and the start of the general sale were seen in the Hamilton Straight A grandstand, where prices for a 3-day ticket increased by £160 before the general sale began. Prices increased by £120 in the both the Club Corner and Copse B stands and by close to £100 in the Hamilton Straight B, Copse A Village B, Woodcote A and Luffield stands.

Up to 4 tickets can be bought with a single priority access pass. If you are buying multiple tickets, paying to access the pre-sale before ticket prices increase can be cost effective.

3-day General Admission prices increased by £30 between the start of last year’s pre-sale and the beginning of the general sale, increasing from £269 to £299.

For Silverstone Racing Club members, camping and glamping tickets have gone on sale one week prior to the priority ticket sale (in 2026, SRC members could access the camping and glamping pre-sale from 10am on Thursday September 4).

The priority access for 2026 British Grand Prix tickets began at 10am on Thursday September 11 for Full Circuit Members and from 10am on Friday September 12 for Grid Members.

When Do 2027 British Grand Prix tickets go on sale?

Exact on-sale dates for the 2027 British Grand Prix are yet to be announced, but Silverstone has confirmed that ticket sales will begin at some point in September.

In the last few years, all ticket categories for the British Grand Prix (grandstand, general admission and enclosures) have gone on sale to the general public at the same time. Be sure to be in the queue for tickets well ahead of the time at which they are scheduled to go on sale. The more expensive and sought-after grandstands – namely Hamilton Straight A and Abbey B – General Admission Plus, General Admission and enclosure tickets were available to buy from 10am on Friday September 19.

Camping and glamping tickets for the 2026 British Grand Prix went on sale to non-members from Friday September 5 at 10am. Official camping bookers then had the opportunity to partake in a priority Grand Prix ticket sale on Thursday September 18 at 11am.

The Landostand Returns in 2027

Lando Norris first partnered with Silverstone for the 2025 British Grand Prix and will once again have a grandstand exclusively for his fans in 2027. The grandstands formerly known as Stowe A, B and C are now home to the 16,00 capacity Landostand. The three-day cost of Landostand tickets in 2026 was £539. Prices for 2027 have not yet been announced.

In previous years, all ticket holders received free merchandise and it’s likely that there will be exclusive appearances from Lando Norris throughout the weekend. Tickets for the Landostand in 2026 went on sale from 10am on Monday September 15. Release dates for 2027 tickets have not yet been announced.

American Express Pre-Sale

It is expected that there will once again be a further opportunity for fans to purchase British Grand Prix tickets ahead of the general sale thanks to a pre-sale for American Express card holders. Last year, the Official Amex Presale was a 48-hour pre-sale period, open to all new and existing American Express Cardmembers.

For reference, these were all of the on sale dates for the 2026 British Grand Prix. 2027 dates are yet to be announced:

Thursday September 4, 10am: Silverstone Racing Club members camping & glamping sale

Friday September 5, 10am: Official camping and glamping on sale

Thursday September 11, 10am: Silverstone Racing Club Full Member priority F1 ticket sale

Friday September 12, 10am: Silverstone Racing Club Grid Member priority F1 ticket sale

Monday September 15, 10am: Landostand ticket sale

Tuesday September 16, 10am: American Express Pre-Sale

Thursday September 18, 11am: Official camping bookers F1 priority ticket sale

Friday September 19, 10am: 2026 British Grand Prix general ticket sale

How much will 2027 British Grand Prix tickets cost?

In recent years, Silverstone has deployed a dynamic pricing model, which has caused ticket prices to skyrocket within hours. In 2023, General Admission access went on sale at £219, before prices worked their way up to £349 as a result of demand. In 2024, race organisers said that the pricing model would be less aggressive, with Silverstone’s Managing Director Stuart Pringle saying that the circuit “learned a lot of lessons and we can’t have a repeat of [2023].” Nevertheless, ticket prices still increased by up to £200 in some grandstands within a week of going on sale. It was a similar story in both 2025 and 2026.

The British Grand Prix is one of the more expensive races to attend on the Formula 1 calendar. The average price of 3-day tickets in 2026 is the eighth most expensive of the 24 races this year. A packed support schedule and nightly big-name concerts go some way to justifying the hefty prices.

2026 British Grand Prix Price List

Ticket prices for the 2027 British Grand Prix have not yet been revealed by Silverstone. The price list for the 2026 race weekend is listed below for information purposes.

Bear in mind that these are the prices at which tickets went on sale and will not reflect the prices displayed on the Silverstone website after dynamic pricing came into effect. Dynamic pricing sees these starting prices increase in line with demand for tickets. While General Admission tickets remained at the same base level as in 2025, the price of other ticket categories increased by as much as £70 compared to the previous year.
