The 2026–27 National League South season, known as the Enterprise National League for sponsorship reasons, is the 12th season under the title of the National League, the 23rd season consisting of three divisions, and the 48th season overall.
2022/23 saw the expansion of North and South divisions to 24 teams apiece, a planned increase which was originally scheduled in 2019. However, after the curtailment and voidance of the 2020–21 season for both North and South, promotion and relegation were postponed. For those reasons, the implementation of expansion plans was delayed.

Fans reveal who they think are contenders for promotion for 26/27 National League South…
Paul Ernest Christie: Truro City and Torquay gonna fight it out again… but.. they better be well equipped to deal with the league that Truro’s just been relegated from ..
Vic Green: Tudors it’s yours for the taking.
John Dalley: Torquay or Dagenham for me
Martin Joy: Daggers to win it..
Dave Todd: Think Dagenham will win it.
Shaun McCallion: Farnham have been underestimated for the last few years and being seen as underdogs suits perfectly. They’ll challenge for the playoffs.
Phil Appleby: I think we’d be happy around mid-table again AFC Totton Torquay have a target on their back. Every away day they will have to play at full-tilt to take points. After all the play-off chat they will be a 90’s Man Utd-esque scalp this season. I’d fancy Torquay and Dorking to be in the top two.
David Couldridge: Tonbridge will surprise a few people. If you extrapolate their form since Xmas it is knocking on the door of playoff levels. Their recruitment will be strong next season, Alan Dunne’s first full season.
Martin Williams: Truro will be top 3
Brian Petley: Dagenham will win it with their new found wealth
David Delderfield: Farnham and billericay could be dark horses.
Kevin Woodham: I think Farnham will surprise a few people this year, I see then as playoff contenders
Matt Barrick: As a neutral I somewhat see Dagenham winning it
@LukeBignel80267: Dagenham runaway champions with Torquay and Dorking coming up short again. Momentum will mean that both Farnham and Walton & Hersham will start well, but I would imagine they both start to fall away due to the number of games being so punishing.
@BuckledFrame218: Farnham to win the league Final day, Chelmsford to win Play-offs (beating Torquay in the final). Chesham, Dover, Tonbridge and Salisbury to get relegated
@IamConstable: Gonna go Dorking to win the league. Dagenham win the playoffs. Salisbury, Totton, Slough and H&R to go down
@TerwitTwoo: Will be Dagenham or Farnham with the one that doesnt go straight up, winning the playoffs.
@shauntippins: Dorking, Farnham & Torquay have the resources to be top 7. Everyone else could end up 4th or 24th depending upon recruitment, budget, luck, management and injuries!
@BasicAde:4 teams I think will be up thereTorquayDorking WanderersDagenham & RedbridgeAnd…… Gonna throw Maidstone United in the mixVery strong league though !!
