Meet The Fiancee of Travis Hunter (1:23)

Colorado cornerback & wide receiver Travis Hunter was at the center of the NFL media universe during the NFL Scouting Combine today. But there was one question that he would not field no matter how many times he was asked.

Per Justin Rogers of Detroit Football Network, Hunter repeatedly said “next question” when asked if he had met with any particular team. Rogers admitted that he’s only a bigger fan of Hunter for doing that.

“Travis Hunter responding with ‘Next question’ every time he was asked whether he met with a specific team at the combine only makes him more elite. Big fan,” Rogers wrote.

NFL fans were admittedly pleased with the maturity behind Hunter’s response as well:

“Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders are complete opposites,” one user noted, likely referencing Sanders’ knack for naming teams he likes.

“Love it. Screw those irrelevant questions,” wrote another.

“Love that with my whole heart,” a third remarked.

“Excellent way to disincentivize asking the laziest and most useless question possible. He rules.”

The Tennessee Titans hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and have said point-blank that they’re seeking a “generational prospect” – a label that would fit the bill for the two-way Heisman trophy winner. But the Titans have far more positional needs than Hunter or any one draft prospect can fill alone, which is why the team is reportedly shopping their top pick.

As a result, Hunter could wind up dropping a couple of spots in the draft as teams jockey for one of the two top quarterback prospects such as Cam Ward or Hunter’s longtime teammate Shedeur Sanders.

Hunter showed at Colorado that he can be an elite player as both a cornerback and a wide receiver. He led the Big 12 Conference in receptions and touchdown grabs as a wideout while posting 11 defended passes and four interceptions on the other side of the ball.

He’s the kind of 60-minute player that the NFL hasn’t seen in generations – if a team chooses to deploy him that way.

Where do you think Hunter will be drafted?
