Combo guard Jalen Davis, out of Bremerton, Washington, will be taking his official visit with the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Nov. 7 for the 2026-27 home opener against the New Mexico State Aggies.
Along with the Zags, the five-star will check out four additional schools this fall. He plans to tour the Stanford Cardinal and Ole Miss Rebels’ facilities sometime in September, plus the Iowa Hawkeyes on Oct. 3 and the UCLA Bruins on Oct. 16.
Rivals ranks the 6-3, 165-pounder as the nation’s No. 19 prospect, No. 6 for his position, and No. 1 player coming out of the state of Washington.
Hailing from the western part of the state, Davis suited up for Slow Grind Elite on the Adidas 3SSB AAU circuit. He put up 24.3 points per game on over 49 percent shooting from the floor.
To make his summer ever more impressive and busy, the 18-year-old was a top performer at the Adidas EuroCamp in Treviso, Italy, as well as for NGT 3SSB at the Adidas NextGen EuroLeague FINALS in Athens, Greece.
The high-volume scorer who plays mostly off-ball can also make an impact in the passing lanes. During his standout junior high school season, Davis was awarded Washington’s Gatorade Player of the Year honors with averages of 31.5 points on 63.9 field goal percentage and 40.0 three-point percentage, 9.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and a whopping 5.8 steals per contest.
That included a 51-point outing in a 94-42 Bremerton victory over South Kitsap on Dec. 2, which is now the school record.
Another name out of the 2027 recruiting class to monitor for upcoming official visits with Gonzaga is four-star, 6-5 wing Gene Roebuck III from La Mirada, California. The lone 2027 commit for the Zags is four-star point guard Dooney Johnson from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
