The 2026 MLB Draft proved to be somewhat thin for New England prospects. Only 18 players with New England ties earned selections — down from 24 last July.
It marked just the second time since 2020 when no New England prospect was selected in the first round. However, it was a strong year for New England high school prospects, as two New Englanders earned selections in the top three rounds.
The 18 New England prospects who earned draft selections are listed below, along with the slot value for each of their respective picks. After the 10th round, there is no slot value for each pick since teams are allotted up to $150,000 per pick without having to subtract from the signing bonus pool.
