Jamarion Sharp is getting an opportunity in the NBA.
Sharp, 24, made five appearances with the Raptors in Las Vegas and averaged 7.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.8 blocks, which was ninth-highest among all players at Summer League. The Ole Miss product also shot 71.4 per cent from the field during that span.
The undrafted big man has yet to make his NBA regular-season debut, having previously spent some time with the Dallas Mavericks after his three NCAA campaigns, but was limited to a pair of Exhibit-10 contracts and pre-season appearances between the last two seasons.
He instead spent the last two years playing in the G League with the Texas Legends, the Mavericks’ affiliate team. In 2025-26, Sharp was named the G League’s Defensive Player of the Year after averaging 4.1 blocks to go with 7.5 rebounds and 7.7 points on 73.5 per cent shooting through 39 appearances.
As for the Raptors, they still hold one two-way slot of their own with this year’s 50th-overall pick Jaden Bradley and undrafted sophomore Chucky Hepburn occupying the other two spots.
