The most famous unicycle in basketball history is back.

Red Panda, whose real name is Rong Niu, returned Tuesday to reclaim her spot as one of the most popular halftime performers in basketball. She made her comeback at the United Center during the Chicago Bulls’ game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Niu performed on Prime Video’s new studio show but hasn’t appeared at a game since she fell and broke her left wrist in a July 1 halftime performance during the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup final between the Indiana Fever and Minnesota Lynx.

Red Panda’s performances feature her riding an 8-foot unicycle and balancing bowls on her head and feet. The fall that injured her in July set social media abuzz with concern. She spent 11 hours in the hospital after the fall.

The return of Red Panda might not have appeared on any team’s injury report, but the news will be celebrated by basketball fans who love her halftime acrobatics.
