Former two-division champion Jon Jones and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul have a message for Conor McGregor.

This past weekend at UFC 329, McGregor returned to the octagon after 5 years to run it back with Max Holloway. However, his long-awaited return bout lasted for just 69 seconds.

The Irishman suffered a right knee injury and kept falling to the ground. Seeing that the former UFC double champ was not in a state to keep fighting, referee Mike Beltran put a stop to the contest, and Holloway got the TKO win in R1.

Many in the MMA community have criticized “The Notorious” following the loss. Some have claimed he entered the fight with a pre-existing injury; others have said he is washed, and a few believe he gave up and should have fought through the adversity as he did in 2013 after tearing his ACL during the first Holloway bout.

Jon Jones, always a McGregor fan, has once more backed “The Notorious” at this difficult period. On McGregor’s 38th birthday, Jones shared a message for “The Notorious.” He wrote:

“This too shall pass, you can’t keep a good man down. Head high champ, happy birthday.”

Meanwhile, Jake Paul, who had previously mocked McGregor’s post-UFC 329, wrote:

“Happy birthday, cutie pie 🤍 so proud of you”

Conor McGregor does not think he lost to Max Holloway at UFC 329

Conor McGregor believes his UFC 329 fight with Max Holloway should be overturned to a no contest. For UFC 329, 92% of the money was bet on McGregor to win, and given how the bout ended, the Irishman now wants all bets returned. Earlier today, he posted on his Instagram stories:

“1. I will have the results of the scan on my leg tomorrow.”

“2. The fight should be a no-contest and all bets returned.”
