Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen insists the club have not received a single offer from Real Madrid for Michael Olise this summer and says the Bundesliga champions have no intention of selling the France international.
Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in 2024 and has made a huge impact, winning the Bundesliga in each of his two seasons in Germany as well as the club’s player of the season award in 2025 and 2026.
The 24-year-old, who was born in London but declared for France having come through Les Bleus’ youth system, made a brilliant start at the World Cup as Didier Deschamps’ men cruised through the group stage but then faded as they exited in the semi-finals to eventual winners Spain.
Olise’s form for club and country caught the eye of Madrid, who were reported to be readying a £200m bid for the former Reading midfielder this summer. But Dreesen says no approach has been made by the Liga giants and one would not be welcomed.
Asked if Olise would stay at Bayern, he told Kicker: “Yes, of course. We have received no letter, no fax and no call from Real Madrid. It’s astonishing what [rumours] can end up being spread when you know yourself what the truth actually is.”

Dreesen also suggested £200m would not be enough even if Madrid were to get in touch.
He added: “I have not heard a single one [person in my circle of friends] who said that at £200m you have to sell him. He still has three years left on his contract.”
Another Bayern star linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena is Colombia winger Luis Diaz.
Diaz is a rumoured target for Saudi side Al-Hilal but Dreesen adopted a similar stance.
He said: “We’d be stupid if we sell Diaz, wouldn’t we? We have such a fantastic squad, honestly. Let’s just get the season underway and start scoring some goals.”
Diaz made a strong impression in his first year at Bayern, scoring 26 goals in 51 games in all competitions.
