Noah Okafor scored two goals to give Leeds a surprising 2-1 victory over Manchester United. The away side secured three crucial points at Old Trafford on Monday evening.

Third-placed United came into the match looking to solidify their top-four position. Meanwhile, 15th-placed Leeds desperately needed a win. The visitors had failed to win any of their previous five league matches.

Leeds shocked the home crowd early in the game. Noah Okafor fired the ball into the net in the fifth minute. This early strike gave the visitors a fast lead.

United struggled to respond to the early setback. Matheus Cunha received a yellow card for a sloppy foul in the 18th minute. The hosts could not find their rhythm.

Just 11 minutes later, Okafor struck again. The forward found space in the box and slotted the ball past the goalkeeper in the 29th minute. Leeds took full control.

The home side entered the break trailing by two goals. Manager Erik ten Hag needed a major shift in tactics. United had to break through a stubborn Leeds defense.

The second half started poorly for the hosts. Luke Shaw earned a yellow card in the 49th minute. Then, disaster struck when Lisandro Martinez received a red card in the 56th minute.

Despite playing with 10 men, United fought back bravely. Bruno Fernandes set up Casemiro, who guided home a goal in the 69th minute. The hosts cut the shortfall to one.

United pushed hard for an equalizer in the closing stages. However, Leeds goalkeeper Karl Darlow stood firm. He made six crucial saves throughout the match to deny the hosts.

The final minutes featured intense pressure from the home side. Ethan Ampadu picked up a late yellow card in the 86th minute. Leeds defended deep to protect their narrow advantage.

The statistics highlighted a sharp contrast in finishing quality. United managed 20 total shots but generated only 1.4 expected goals. Leeds created 2.37 expected goals from just 15 attempts.

This result keeps United in third place with 55 points. Leeds remain in 15th place but gain vital breathing room. The visitors will hope to build on this impressive away performance.
