Jordan Grannum is closing in on an incredible 200th career defeat, but one remarkable statistic explains why the British middleweight remains one of boxing’s toughest and busiest journeymen.

The Londoner has compiled a professional record of 15-191-7 since making his debut in 2015 and already has three more fights lined up over the coming weeks as his relentless schedule shows no sign of slowing down.

His growing number of defeats grabs the attention. His durability tells the real story.

Of Grannum’s 191 losses, only three have come inside the distance despite sharing the ring with hundreds of prospects and experienced professionals over more than a decade.

Jordan Grannum

Nicknamed “The Grafter,” Grannum has become one of the UK’s most dependable road warriors, rarely spending long out of the ring.

At the time of writing, the 33-year-old already has contests scheduled on August 8, September 12 and September 26, continuing a workload that has seen him average almost 20 professional fights a year since turning professional.

His last victory came in March when he outpointed Dan Booth in what proved to be the 200th fight of his professional career. Since then, Grannum has returned to his familiar role of giving prospects valuable rounds while remaining one of Britain’s busiest journeymen.

Another milestone is also approaching.

1000 Rounds Milestone

Grannum has boxed 991 professional rounds, leaving him just nine away from reaching the 1,000-round mark, another remarkable achievement in a career built on resilience rather than knockouts.

With three more fights already scheduled and no sign of slowing down, Grannum continues edging toward the remarkable 200-defeat milestone.

More than 210 professional fights. Almost 1,000 rounds. Just three stoppage defeats. Whatever anyone thinks of his record, those numbers belong to one of British boxing’s toughest and most durable road warriors.
