Adrien Broner has vowed to quit drinking after another week of concern over his livestreams, but whether the former four-weight world champion can finally leave alcohol behind remains the biggest question surrounding his latest revival.
World Boxing News has followed Broner’s streaming journey from the beginning, documenting both the financial revival it has brought and the worrying moments that have repeatedly overshadowed his return to the spotlight.
Broner has looked better over the past three weeks after vowing to get fit for another boxing comeback. However, over the last few days, those old habits have returned.

Members of Broner’s own streaming team have openly questioned his commitment after discovering he had allegedly been hiding his drinking while also putting weight back on by eating takeaways.
DeenTheGreat was visibly frustrated on stream as Broner insisted, “I’ll be alright, bro,” despite concerns over his preparation.
Another clip showed Broner being confronted over drinking in the middle of the afternoon while continuing to talk about a boxing comeback.
The latest footage has only fueled doubts over whether Broner can put together the kind of seven or eight-week training camp needed for another comeback.
Broner has still come a long way since the early days of his streaming career, when he repeatedly drank alcohol until vomiting into his own mouth on camera.
Those alarming streams prompted concern throughout boxing and highlighted just how serious his battle with alcohol had become.
Latest Promise
Broner has now vowed to stop drinking once again.
However, this latest promise is likely to be met with skepticism after similar pledges in the past.
The talent has never disappeared, neither has the earning potential, and a successful comeback could still net Broner millions through boxing purses, livestreaming revenue and sponsorships.
The problem is that every time Broner appears to be turning a corner, another setback follows. This time, he has to prove the promise is more than words.
