The adidas Harden Vol. 10 Dips Into Gradient Aesthetics

It’s tough to imagine a more disappointing ouster from the postseason than the Cleveland Cavaliers suffered in the ECF, but perhaps the fact that their opponents will be hanging a banner and dwarfed the Game 1 comeback on the way to doing so blunts the effect a bit. For what it’s worth, the shot callers in the Land put their confidence behind this year’s squad early, sticking with Kenny Atkinson despite widespread criticism.

Barring a Giannis-to-Ohio scenario, it seems likely that the squad will get a chance to “run it back” in 2026-27. For adidas, that’s great news, providing a rare opportunity in which two faces of their basketball brand share the court and frequently flex their signature designs alongside each other. Given their original dates of introduction, we’ll likely still be in the Harden Vol. 10 and DON Issue #7 era for opening day, but there are plenty more colorway options on the way in the interim.

For The Beard’s part of the equation, the Harden Vol. 10 will evidently spend the summer exploring experimental options. A blue-and-black gradient look is the next branch out of the two-tone and flooded looks we’ve gotten so accustomed to. A slice of bright blue at the bottom of the uppers and in the sole unit creates this ombré look, hitting metallic cobalt notes on the toe. Overall, it’s a novel way to create the striking effect so dominant in on-court wear.

The adidas Harden Vol. 10 doesn’t have a concrete release date at the time of this writing, but we can comfortably expect these sometime in the Fall/Winter window.
