Kevin Durant’s latest signature shoe continues to indulge his sweet tooth as the newest Nike KD 19 Candies appears in all-green.
Following a string of monochromatic colorways inspired by Durant’s favorite candies, the newest addition to the growing collection arrives in an eye-catching all-green finish. While Nike has yet to confirm the official inspiration, the vibrant hue appears to reference either green candy apples or a lime-flavored treat, staying true to the playful theme that has defined several of the KD 19’s early releases.
The sneaker features a saturated green upper paired with matching laces and sole unit, allowing the color to take center stage while highlighting the KD 19’s sleek performance-driven design. Like the previous “Candies” editions, the minimalist execution lets the storytelling come through almost entirely by way of color.
The reveal comes shortly after Durant made headlines on social media after responding to an AI-generated image depicting him licking a candy apple. The image quickly spread online as some mistakenly believed it to be part of Nike’s official campaign, prompting Durant to shut down the rumor himself.
