Cameron Brink’s “Malibu Melt” New Balance Pack Takes Inspo From LA Sunsets

After leading several campaigns and receiving her own personal player exclusives, Cameron Brink is hitting retail with her first-ever New Balance sneaker release. The former #2 overall pick by the Los Angeles Sparks is dropping a “Malibu Melt” pack spanning both on and off-court options, unveiled here in an announcement timed to WNBA All-Star Weekend.

On one hand we have the New Balance P400 Low, originally debuted by Cameron Brink herself in a lookbook earlier this summer. Her signature “Malibu Melt” colorway draws from the calming essence of Los Angeles sunsets, sporting a compelling pastel pink across the main portions of the upper, midsole, tongue, and heel paneling. The interior and top portion of the tongue come in cream, while a purple-to-yellow gradient on the midsole core makes the theme unmistakable.

The other half of the collection consists of the New Balance 740, one of many retro tech runners in the brand’s catalog. The sunset theme carries over, albeit with a different color story. Pale yellow lays the foundation on the upper and outsole, followed by gradient leather overlays featuring bright yellow, pink, and purple tones.
