According to a preseason survey of the region’s coaches, the best Division 2 programs in New England again reside in the Northeast-10 Conference.
The top of this power ranking ahead of the 2026 season features a trio of 30-win programs, with familiar programs Southern New Hampshire and Franklin Pierce coming off deep runs in the conference and national tournaments, respectively.
Year-over-year changes to those program’s rosters have left things in a different order, though.
For some of the region’s Division 2 clubs, the season is already just underway. Various spring trips have taken (or are currently taking) teams to such destinations as Florida and South Carolina before play returns north in the coming weeks.
